Hello Family and Friends,
I am writing to report that all is well with Kayla.
This very day, last year, we set up for a road trip to St Jude Hospital in Memphis, TN after being given the news that Kayla had a large tumor around her spine and in the lower abdomen. This day marked the beginning of our challenging journey that all of you know has a happy ending. After three rounds of chemotherapy and two surgeries Kayla has made a complete recovery through the help of many skilled and dedicated individuals, a first class hospital, and your support and prayers. We do not make any excuses about our faith in God and our belief that Kayla’s recovery was the subject of “Divine Intervention”. We have seen a miracle right before our eyes but we have also seen YOU, ALL OF YOU AND MANY OTHERS, do acts of kindness toward Kayla and us. You and many others, made a conscious and deliberate decision and effort to help us, support us and love us in such ways that we will never be same. You showered us with love, prayer and gifts making our load along the journey so much lighter. For that we say THANK YOU.
Our prayer is that the investment you made on us, will be multiplied in your own lives in ways well beyond your greatest expectations. We pray for the doors of Heaven to open up and for the blessings of God to over flow in your lives.
As for Kayla, well she just celebrated her 6th birthday on April 10th and this was all she imagined it would be.
Blessings,
Carlos, Linda, Kayla and Alex
